Developed a
review process for network engineering design packages for the product
managers Force Projection Directorate (FPD). Instituted the initial review
process that achieved faster delivery of the engineering package to the
Budget Management Directorate (BMD) cutting 2 weeks from the acquisition
process.
·
Facilitated
the partial to full turnover of completed portion of the US Army C4 CAN
infrastructure projects to the customer (US Army Signal Battalion) allowing
immediate usage of the install OSP infrastructure in support of the
facilities network supporting our troops.
CSC Eatontown, N.J.1993-2010
Project
Manager
- Information technology project manager in support of C4 Army communications
projects in South West Asia (Iraq, Afghanistan).
·
Managed
construction of the US Army’s first containerized Technical Control Facility
(TCF) from ground breaking to Initial operating capability (IOC) to final
operating capability (FOC). Work involved heavy and light construction,
construction of heavy duty seismic concrete pads; placement of mobile
communications shelters (Containers), installation and commissioning of 570
Kva backup generator system, 100 Kva UPS, construction of a 130 foot, land
mobile radio (LMR) tower, and construction of a ballistic protection shield
over the TCF containers. The IOC phase was completed 2 months ahead of
schedule and 3.5 million dollars under budget.

Coordinated
engineering team interconnecting the shelters, installation of fiber optic
cables and all associated copper data cables to support the FOC phase of the
containerized TCF.
Network
Principle Engineer
- Network principle engineer provided data communications support for US Army
TCF in IOC and FOC phases in Bagdad and Balad Iraq.

Directed site
surveys involving implementation of Army C4 systems, obtaining critical data
for considerations hardware location and installation, cable plant
installation, electrical requirements, environmental (HVAC) and security
considerations.
